c) Additional Functions
1. Recall in Case of Alarm (Function “RECALL”)
When an event triggers an alarm in the “ALARM ENABLE” mode, an alarm text message is sent to all phone numbers in the phone book. This
makes it possible to call back another phone number. This is configured with the following command:
SET 4911223344… #1513
The phone number (0)11223344… is called back now.
Observe that this phone number must correspond to the same requirements as a text message.
There also is the option of the speaker being deactivated for recall, so that the area around the product can be listened to (without causing any
sound). This is called the “SILENT” mode and is activated as follows:
SET 4911223344… SILENT #1513
Now you can hear what happens in the surveillance area.
If you want to deactivate the “SILENT” mode for this function, the phone number and the 2nd parameter “SILENT” must be sent again. Alternatively,
the function can be reset by:
RESET RECALL #1513
The current status can be determined with the following command:
TEST RECALL #1513
2. Reaction at Incoming Call (“INCALL”)
Any call with a phone number matching the one from the phone book may trigger the “INCALL” function. This specifically refers to the number
ranges that are introduced for this purpose.
This function can only work with active caller ID transmission.
If there are any problems with recognition of a phone number, use another mobile phone to check which phone number is transmitted.
In some countries, the country code is not transmitted. In this exception, the corresponding number displayed in the test mobile phone
should be used for the test.
A frequent mistake is programming the GSM product’s own phone number into the phone book instead of the phone number of the
mobile phone.
The follwong commands work for any configuration:
TEST INCALL #1513
This returns the current configuration.
RESET INCALL #1513
This switches off the “INCALL” function. All incoming calls are rejected at once.
