Testing phone number
To check the phone numbers stored in the product, you may use the following command:
TEST TEL #1513
Always enter the complete phone number in international format (including country code), e.g. +49… for Germany. The text message commands
(TEL1, TEL2, TEL3,…) change only the phone number of the corresponding memory. The numbers of the other memory are retained.
6. Alarm Sound at Alarm (Command “ALARMSOUND”)
Due to the small size of the product, it may be of disadvantage that the product draws attention by an alarm sound. The unauthorised person
would be able to destroy the product to prevent notification. Therefore, the alarm sound can be adjusted. The product may therefore inform the
customer secretly that something is happening, permitting additional actions.
The alarm sound can be set as follows:
SET ALARMSOUND <Alarm position> <Alarm length> #1513
Position: 0 = no alarm
1 = after text message dispatch
2 = at once
Length: 1 to 255 s
Example:
Deactivation of alarm sound:
SET ALARMSOUND 0 255 #1513
Activation of alarm sound for 30 s after all text messages were sent:
SET ALARMSOUND 1 30 #1513
The current status can be determined with the following command:
TEST ALARMSOUND #1513
To return to the default settings (30 s), use the following command:
RESET ALARMSOUND #1513
Activation of the alarm sound may impair the “RECALL” function. You will mainly hear the active alarm sound.
