The pump body is fi lled with the liquid to be conveyed via the fi lling nozzle.

To do this, open the fi lling nozzle on the pump and fi ll the pump housing.

After completion of the fi lling nozzle again close leakage-free,

• Make sure that the pressure/ and suction line may be under pressure and may contain liquid, if
necessary draining;
• Open the emptying nozzle - the liquid runs out of the pump housing:
• After the pump housing is completely emptied, close the emptying nozzle properly.

OPERATING STATES OF THE
CONEL FLOW RAIN-CHAMPION
10.1 SECURITY
DANGER: Danger to life:
• All activities at Conel Flow Rain-Champion may only be carried out by profes-
sional and knowledgeable personnel, who have been suffi ciently informed by
studying the operating instructions in-depth.
• Do NOT wear your personal protective gear and do NOT work with wet hands
or wet feet or stand in the water – avoid a fatal electric shock.
• Refer to unauthorized persons (especially children, adolescents) or animals
from the fi eld of work and activity.
10.2
NORMAL COMMISSIONING
To start up the Conel Flow Rain-Champion after a long downtime or after an off-shoot, proceed as
follows:
• Visual inspection and memory check for proper condition;

Is there enough rainwater in the reservoir (refi ll with drinking water if necessary)?
¾
Is the suction sieve on the suction line clean and correctly positioned?
¾
Is the level sensor properly fi xed and placed in the correct position?
¾
Is the counterweight still in the correct position?
¾
Can the fl oat switch move freely and is not restricted by obstacles in its function?
• Visual inspection and check that all pipe and connections do not have leaks;
¾
Control the connection of the drinking water supply;
¾
Control the connections of the pressure/suction line;
•
visual inspection and inspection of the fl oat switch in the feed-in tank;
¾
To do this, slide the metal plate up on the feed-in tank and remove it – after that you have free
access to the fl oat switch:

Check the seat and function of the fl oat switch.

Can the swimmer move freely in tank and is not restricted by obstacles in his function?
¾
Does the fl oat valve close and open properly?
• Visual inspection and control of electrical connections,
¾
Are all electrical connections properly and fi rmly connected?
¾
Is the required grid supply available?
•
Open the ball valve of the drinking water supply - the feed tank is fi lled;
• The operating mode switch in position „Automatic (Auto. )“;
• Insert the power plug (protective contact plug) into the protective contact socket provided for this
purpose;
• The pump switch switches on the pump and it begins to pump rainwater from the storage tank;
