Note:
• The operation of the Conel Flow Rain-Champion with leaks on the pressure/
suction line or its piping may cause damage to the Conel Flow Rain-Champion or
to the entire installation;
• Ensure a professional and appropriate connection of the Conel Flow Rain-
Champion to the piping system;
• Make sure that the electrical installation is properly and professionally created;
•
Visual check whether all required lines, dimension-friendly, airtight and fixed, to
which Conel Flow Rain-Champion are connected.
9.2
EXECUTION OF THE INITIAL COMMISSIONING
•
The Conel Flow Rain-Champion is professionally and appropriately mounted and fixed at the destina
-
tion
(see chapter 8.2 for details on this subject);
• All hydraulic connections (suction/pressure line, drinking water supply line) are connected professio-
nally and appropriately
(see Chapter 8). 3 to 8. 5)
•
The connection line for the integrated emergency overflow of the Conel Flow Rain-Champion is
installed and connected appropriately
(see Chapter 8for details on this. 6);
• The required level sensor for checking the water level in the storage tank is professionally and appro-
priately mounted and connected to the control unit
(see Chapter 8. 7 to 8.8);
• The necessary electrical connections are connected professionally and appropriately – the electrical
power supply has not yet been established;
•
There is plenty of rainwater in the reservoir, if necessary refilling it with drinking water;
• Check that the level sensor in the feed tank can move trouble-free and is not impaired in its switching
function;
• The operating mode switch to
„Manual operation (Man. )“
- operating mode of the Conel Flow
Rain-Champion
(see chapter 8.9)
for details;
•
Slowly open the ball valve of the drinking water supply – the feed tank fills with drinking water until
the float valve in the feed tank slowly closes the inflow and the feed tank is filled with drinking water.
• Discharge of pump housings
(see Chapter 9 for details on this. 3).
The pump body is filled with water
via the filling nozzle (on the upper pump housing). To do this, open the filling nozzle at the pump and
fill the pump housing completely with water. After finishing the filling nozzle again connect leakage-
free;
• Open the picking point closest to the Conel Flow Rain-Champion a little;
• Plug the power plug (protective contact plug) into the protective contact socket provided for this
purpose;
• The pump switch switches on the pump and it begins to pump drinking water from the feed-in tank
into the installation;
- Depending on the need, drinking water is fed;
• Allow the trapped air located in the piping system to keeping the nearest sampling point slightly open
until water jet flows out continously of the sampling point (may take a few minutes).
• Now close the picking point;
•
The pump continues to run until the pump switching machine finally shuts down the pump with an
integrated follow-up time.
• Now switch the mode switch from Manual to
„Automatic (Auto. )“
operation;
• This controls the zone valve and switches to the water supply from the storage tank (rain water
supply);
• Now open the nearest picking point a little;
• As soon as the pump switching machine detects the switch-on point, the pump is switched on to suck
water from the tank;
• Often there is still air in the suction line, which is sucked in by the pump.
- This can cause the pump switcher to detect a fault and the corresponding LED light up.
- Press the RESET button - the LED will be released and the pump will start operation again.
