12 MAINTENANCE
Regular inspection and maintenance increase operational and functional safety, extend service life and
prevent possible structural damage and unscheduled repairs. Rainwater use systems must be inspected
regularly by the operator or by expert staff. To this end, were commend the information on inspection
and maintenance measures in chapter 12.4).
12.1 SECURITY
Risk:
• Improper conduct of inspection and maintenance activities can cause death,
grievous bodily harm and property damage to the Conel Flow Rain-Champion
.
• Inspections may be carried out independently or by professional/knowledge-
able personnel or by the manufacturer;
• Maintenance and repairs may only be carried out by professional and know-
ledgeable personnel or by the manufacturer.
• This professional shall have read and understood this operating manual;
• Turn on the Conel Flow Rain-Champion without voltage and secure it against
unauthorized or unintentional re-turn on.
• Ensure that the Conel Flow Rain-Champion cannot be put into operation
without authorisation or unintentionally during maintenance work;
12.2 INSPECTION
Regular inspections extend the life of the Conel Flow Rain-Champion. For this purpose, please check the
entire system regularly or by professional and knowledgeable personnel or by the manufacturer (see
chapter 12.4 for details on this.
• Pay attention to unusual noise of the entire plant;
• Regular visual and functional testing of all connection/removal points for leaks (especially for hose
connections or hose removal points);
•
Regular visual and functional inspection of all fi lters in the installation, in particular the inlet fi lter in
the memory and the sieve on the suction line;
• Regular visual inspection whether deposits, sludge or sludge in the storage tank supply clear water,
at the suction point of the suction line, buff - if necessary clean the storage, remove contamination,
sludge;
• In case of unusual g, or malfunctions at the Conel Flow Rain-Champion / plant, please contact your
