CONNECTING YOUR VXH264D TO YOUR
iPHONE/ANDROID
To connect your DVR to an iPhone/Android, you will need to download the iPhone/Andriod app,
and also have the following information handy.
• IP address of the DVR
• HTTP Port number (by default this is 8080)
• RTSP Port number (by default this is 6400)
• Username
• Password
All of the above information can be found on the DVR, and will have been used when setting up
the DVR on the network.
you can download the app via the App Store, by searching for "VXH", or by using the QR codes
below if you have a QR code Reader on your device.
There are two versions of the app - "VXH264Pro" and "VXH264lite" If you are on an iPad, you
will need to use VXH264lite. If you are on an iPhone, VXH264Pro is recommended.
To download the APP for an Android device search the Android market for ‘VXH264’, or use the
QR codes below

once you have installed the app, open it and you will see this screen. To add your first DVR
connection, press the '+' button in the top
right hand corner.
Andriod
on an Android device press the menU button. The ‘Add connection’.

next enter a name in the box headed "Server name" - you can give this connection any name
you like - and then hit 'Save' in the top right corner.
Andriod
enter the ‘Server name’ - you can give this connection any name you like.
iPhone
next enter your IP address, HTTP Port number and RTSP Port number. Then, hit 'Save' in the
top right corner.

next enter your URl (IP) address, HTTP Port and RTSP Port number.
