ARCHIVING
A small window opens showing:
TAG nAme: The name of the Archive
DeVIce: choose between DVD, USb or FTP.
bURnInG TyPe: choose between bURnInG or eRASe & bURn.
Press START to begin the archive process.
The footage is extracted to a temporary area on the hard drive.
once extracted, the footage is copied to DVD, USb or FTP.
note that depending on the amount of footage selected for archive, the extracting and burning
process may take some time, during which the VXH264D cannot be used. normal recording
is unaffected by the archive process.
ReSeRVeD DATA mAnAGemenT: This will display only recorded footage that has been
reserved.
Selected footage can be deleted, burn or information viewed.
For further details on archiving, see Appendix A on page 50.
To Archive footage directly to an FTP Site from the DVR fill in the following information:
HOST NAmE
PORT
USERNAmE
PASSwORD
And the
DIRECTORY
folder – this is the folder on the FTP site where the archived footage will
be sent.
FTP Archiving is possible on a new archive or an archive been reserved in the
Reserved Data
management.
