Removal and Replacement Procedures
When replacing this drive, transfer the two wafer screws from the old drive to the new one. There is
one wafer screw on each side of the drive at the front.

Wafer screws act as guides for the drive and take the place of drive rails.
To replace the 3.5-inch drive, reverse the above procedure.
Always ensure that the cables are placed in their proper locations during the reassembly process.
CAUTION:
When servicing this computer, ensure that cables are placed in their proper
locations during the reassembly process. Improper cable placement can damage the
computer.
CAUTION:
Use only 3/16-inch or 5-mm long screws as guide screws. Longer screws
can damage the internal components of the drive.
