Chapter 12 — Storage Management
You can mange storage for recording. Run the
iNEX Setup
program
→
Select the
Service
menu.
NOTES:
USB hard disks, network hard disks and hard disks set to Dynamic cannot be used as storage.
When removing a hard disk drive that contains recorded video from the current NVR system and installing
it in another NVR system or a recording server of iNEX system, you cannot search or play back the video
recorded on the original NVR system or recording server.
The total amount of storage for one NVR system cannot exceed 50,000 GB.
The C:\ drive is not used as storage.
The NVR system automatically allocates storage for recording to all hard disk drives except the C:\ drive
when system boots.
1. Select a recording service and click the
button at the bottom. The
Setup – Recording Service
window
appears. Select the Device Setup tab.
The list of cameras registered on the
current recording service is displayed.
Clicking the
Add
button at the bottom
allows you to register other cameras on
the current recording service. Selecting a
device and clicking the
Remove button
deletes the device from the current
recording service.
