Chapter 15 — Remote Monitoring 

 

 

You can monitor video from devices registered on the NVR system or play back video recorded in the NVR 
system remotely by installing the iNEX Client program on a PC.  Operating the iNEX Client program on 
a PC is identical to on the NVR system.  Refer to 

Chapter 3 — System Overview, 3.3 Client

15.1  Installation 

 

CAUTION: If an older version of iNEX software is installed on your computer, a screen 
appears asking you to upgrade the software.  In this case, you are required to upgrade the 
software according to the instructions in the screen. 

 
1.  Insert the software CD in the Client PC. 

 

2.  Run the 

FederationServiceSetup.exe

 file. 

 

NOTE: The User Account Control window might appear when using the Microsoft

®

 Windows

®

 Vista or later 

operating system.  Click Allow and install the software following the instructions.
