7 SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE
In order to get good cleaning results and to secure the longevity of the travel 600 it is necessary to regu-
larly clean and maintain the machine.
If a soiled machine is used it is possible that the travelator/escalators are not properly cleaned or even
get more dirty during the cleaning procedure.
Cleaning and maintenance only with the machine switched off and disconnected from the
mains.
The personal protective gear has to be worn also for cleaning and maintaining the machine: This includes
the wearing of protective glasses, shoes and gloves.
7.1 Cleaning equipment and its use
Clean all parts of the travel 600 with a slightly wet piece of cloth.
Do not clean with air pressure or high pressure cleaner!
Danger of severe (eye) injuries!
