The measurement is triggered by
pressing down the outer sleeve of
the probe head downwards.
This setting
“Probe head with
control”
checks that the probe
head is still on the surface after the
scan.
A warning message is displayed
when the
“Probe head is moved
too early”
. The measurement can
then be rejected –
“Escape”
- or
accepted –
“Continue”
.
To deactivate the probe head trig-
ger select the
“Off”
setting
6.1.5 User Mode
By activating the
“User mode”
operation is limited to
basic functions; measure samples, loading standards from
the device memory and calibrating. The mode is protected
by a four-digit password.
To activate, select
“User Mode”
from the
“System”
window in
“Settings”
menu.
In the input field enter a four digit
password. Use the navigation keys
to change the value of the
digits. Select the digit by pressing
or .
Exit to the right with the “Enter”
key to activate the mode.
