The device will display a message
when the calibration was success-
ful. Return to the main menu by
pressing the
“ENTER”
key.
If not successful, an error message
“Calibration is invalid”
is dis-
played.
Also the sph860/sph900 has a
cal-
ibration warning
function. This
informs the user that a recalibra-
tion is needed. The sensitivity of
this function can be adjusted in
“Settings”
–
“System”
–
“Calibration warning”
.
The sensitivity setting should be adapted to the required
precision
[see 6.1.8 Calibration warning]
.
5.1.2 Calibration with BAM- and Working-Standard
If the option
“Working-Standard”
is activated the cali-
bration menu of the sph860/sph900
will show a second
menu option -
“Working-Standard”
- as well as the
“BAM-Standard”.
It is important that the two white standards are
measured in the correct order.
Measure the BAM standard and then directly the working
standard in one procedure.
Select
“BAM-standard”
by pressing the
“ENTER”
key. Follow the displayed instructions:
First
calibrate with the
BAM-
Standard
.
Second
you will be prompted to
calibrate with the
Working-
Standard
.
