4.1 Detaching the rechargeable battery
The sph860/sph900 is equipped with a high-performance
NiMH rechargeable battery.
The battery can be easily detached from the device and
attached again:
•
Press the plastic latch

on the rechargeable battery
downwards and pull downwards to detach.
To attach the battery, proceed in reverse sliding the
battery upwards till it snaps in place.
4.2 Recharging the battery
Insert the battery into the docking station with the flat
side facing to the front. The red LED on the charger
indicates the charge state:
•
A continuous red light means the battery is being
loaded.
•
A flashing red light indicates that the battery is
charged. The battery is now charged by an optimal
small trickle current, which prevents an over loading.
If the battery is fully charged, it can be attached to the
sph860/sph900 again.
Fully charge the battery before first use.
The sph860/sph900 can also be powered using the op-
tional power supply available as an accessory.
