9-26 Electric Power Steering System
Maintenance and repair’s supplemental
description:
1. Restart initialization to ECU parameter:

Park ATV on flat ground and keep the
front wheels facing forward.

Pull-out the initialization selects
connector. (See Page 9-21 )

Push ATV back and forth several times.

Turn on the main switch (key switch)
and wait 5 seconds. Then turn back off.

Reinsert pin connector to finish the ECU
parameter initialization process.
Then, turn on the main switch (ignition key);
check whether the fault is removed on the
consol. If it is not removed, follow the
previous steps of the initialization process.
Because of the different mechanical
clearances of the ATV, it may require 3-5
times to be repeated in order to get the
correct initialization parameters.
EPS system Periodic maintenance
For primary use after 50 hours, adjust EPS
system part of parameters according to the
steering system’s clearance variation and
chassis changes.
Please go to the dealer for alignment.

the steering system and the chassis
