Following the maintenance procedures
listed in this chapter will ensure long life
of the EPS system.

This chapter includes detailed
disassembly and maintenance
information. If the user has good
mechanical skills and the correct tools,
the user can perform the maintenance
required. However, if the user is unsure
of their mechanical abilities, the ATV
can be taken to a service center for the
correct maintenance procedures.
INTRODUCTION OF EPS SYSTEM
What is EPS system
The EPS system (Electric Power Steering
System) is a complete set of parts, including
a special ECU only for the EPS system
(hereinafter referred to as ECU), The ECU
consist of sensors and actuators. The
sensors receive signals such as ATV speed,
operating force of the steering wheel,
temperature of ECU and motor. The
information is converted into the correct
power and aligning torque of the EPS. As a
result, the ATV will steer easy and will align
steering softly.
