When installing ceiling-mounted fan coils, it is recom-
mended to keep in mind the possible problem of air
stratification; it should also be remembered that the air
supply grills must be positioned so that the direction of
the air flow is downwards.
Install the appliance in a position that ensures free air
intake and supply flow.
Fixing the fan coil
The fan coil is fixed to the structural ceiling using
threaded bars (not supplied).
The drawings show the configuration needed to fix the
fan coil in place (seen from floor to ceiling).
Procedure
The procedure for installing the fan coil is as follows:
• Mark the positions of the holes in the structural ceil-
ing at the two opposite sides of the opening made
in the false ceiling and then drill the holes for the
threaded bars (the dimensions are shown in the
drawings on the side).
• Fix the threaded bars to the ceiling.
The length of the bars depends on the space
between the false ceiling and the structural ceiling.
