The following is extremely important with regards to
the operations involving:
Handling, storage, installation, maintenance, oper-
ation, work on the electrical system, work on the
refrigeration system
• All personnel must be properly trained or instructed.
• Responsibilities of all personnel must be clearly
defined.
• All work on the electrical system must be performed
by or under the supervision of qualified electricians.
• All work on the water circuit must be carried out by
qualified installers or by trained personnel.
Assembly, disassembly, installation, work on the elec-
trical system, commissioning and maintenance of the
cassette fan coil for false ceiling installation must be
performed in compliance with the health and safety
laws, rules, regulations, codes and standards in force,
and with the latest technology.
These may include regulations, rules, codes and
standards on refrigeration systems, pressure vessels,
electrical systems and lifting equipment.
The wiring diagrams included in this manual do not
take into account earthing or other types of electrical
protection required by local laws, regulations, codes
and standards or by the local electricity supplier.
Scope and qualifications
This manual covers:
• Transport, handling and storage
• Installation
• Work on the electrical system
• Commissioning and maintenance
• Disposal
Any repairs or maintenance on the appliance must be
carried out by specialised and qualified personnel.
The manufacturer is not liable for damage due to
modifications or tampering with the appliance.
Any modifications or additions to the fan coil that may
compromise its safety, including the addition and
adjustment of safety devices and valves, requires the
manufacturer’s approval.
Installation work on the electrical systems and repairs
must be carried out by qualified and experienced per-
sonnel, who are aware of:
• health and safety rules and regulations;
• accident-prevention rules and regulations;
• relevant codes and standards.
Such skilled workers must fully understand their work
and be able to identify and avoid potential risks.
Transport, handling, commissioning and maintenance
must be performed by specialist personnel or persons
who have received the necessary training and instruc-
tions regarding the type of work and the risks deriving
from failure to comply with safety regulations.
