Checking the Configuration
Using the show diag Command
Display the types of port adapters installed in your system (and specific information about each) using
the
show diag
slot
command, where
slot
is the
port adapter slot
in a Cisco 7200 VXR router (with an
NPE-G1 or NPE-G2).

show diag

command that shows a PA-MC-T3-EC in port adapter
slot 2 of a Cisco 7200 VXR router with an NPE-G1 or NPE-G2.

Using the show interfaces Command
The
show interfaces
command displays status information (including the physical slot and interface
address) for the interfaces you specify. Following is an example that specifies serial interfaces.
