Mask off all surfaces that do not require paint or where paint is not permitted.
(c)
Use adhesive tape to check quality of surrounding paint adhesion. If necessary rework
and solvent clean areas of poor adhesion.
(d)
If necessary, apply body filler and/or spot putty to remove any surface defects.

Apply primer system.

If using base/clear coat paint system, abrade primer with 320 grade sand paper.
(h)
Visually inspect prepared surface for imperfections prior to application of paint. Rework
and solvent clean any damaged or defective areas.

Solvent clean application area.
(j)
Wipe entire area to be painted with a tack cloth.
CAUTION:
If using base/clear coat paint system, the base coat must be mixed as cata-
lyzed system.
(k)
Mix and apply paint per manufacturer's instructions.
