14.

How to clear the CMOS with battery and pad

This section contains information on how to clear the CMOS by and battery and CMOS Pad.

14.1 Clear CMOS by Battery

Step 1:

Power system off.

Step 2:

Unplugged power cable from system.

Step 3:

Take off the chassis top cover and then locate the CMOS battery on the motherboard.

Step 4:

Press the lock on the left side in order to CMOS battery to come up. Gently pull off the battery from the motherboard and Wait for 5-10 seconds.
