Remote Connection over Cellular 

Remote Connection enables the installer to remotely connect to a unit using the Chiptech Wizard. 
 

A remote connection allows you to connect to an alarm that is not at your location, and is probably in a 

client’s home. In order to connect

 to an alarm, you will require a SERMOD cable, an ERICA or SEVEN router 

and a computer with a USB port and access to the internet. To perform a remote connection, please refer to 
the Chiptech Wizard Installation and User Manual.

Fleet Management  

SEVEN units with data enabled, connect to SmartCare Cloud to enable comprehensive fleet management for units 
installed and turned on. The frequency of the connection is determined by the SEVEN configuration file. Please see the 
Chiptech website for more details.
