3. Operator's Guide
3.4.5 Lock/Unlock a Job
Locking a job prevents it from being edited. In
the Job Selection screen, the soft-
key “A” will
display
L o c k
or
U n l o c k
depending on
the status of the job. If a job is locked, the pad-
lock symbol will be displayed at the right of the
job name. To change the lock status of a job
from the Job Selection screen, move the cursor
to the appropriate job using the up/down arrow
keys, and press the soft-
key “A” (Lock/Unlock).
The locking function may also be accessed
through the Job Options menu (section 3.4.7 )
when selected from the Job Run screen.
3.4.6 Erasing a Job
Erasing a job will permanently remove it from
memory. In the Job Selection screen, use the
arrow keys to select a job to be erased. Press
the soft-
key ”C” (Erase).

. Use the up/down arrow key to
select either yes or no, then press enter. Note
that locked jobs cannot be erased.
3.4.7 Job Options
Each job has three options that are listed in the
upper left corner of the display. These are Cut
Options, Jogger Options, and Stack Number.
To edit these options press the soft-
key “C”
while in the Job Run screen. This will bring up
the Job Options screen as shown in Figure 3-10.

In the Cut Options screen, use the up/down ar-
row keys to toggle to the desired selection and
press enter to set. Use the
“Face & Side On”
setting to trim all sides of the book (top, bottom,
and face). Use
“Side Cut Off” to trim only the
face. Use
“Face Cut Off” to trim only the top and
bottom sides.
3.4.7.2 Jogger Options

In the Jogger Options screen, use the up/down
arrow keys to toggle to the desired selection and
press enter.
When the Extend option is set, the jogger re-
mains extended as the books leave the jogging
station.
When the Retract option is set, the jogger re-
tracts prior to the book leaving the jogging sta-
tion.
3.4.7.3 Stack Number Setting
This screen is used to set the number of books
that will be stacked and trimmed together. It can
range between 1 and 3.
