Donning and Doffing

Close the cylinder valve fully.

Pull the valve out.

Rotate to turn the cylinder off.

Bleed the pressure down.

Press the PURGE button on the front of the
demand valve.

Retrieve the tally tag from the BA
Control/Entry Officer.

2.8

Turn off the DSU.

Press and hold ON/OFF button and ALARM
button together for four seconds until a sound
emits and the unit switches off.

Remove the BA set from the back.

Undo the waist belt.

Press on the inside of the belt buckle to
release.
