ensuring there are no gaps present between the
mask and the flash hood.

Ensure the flash hood does not interfere with the
facemask seal or obstruct the visor.

Continue the donning BA procedure from Step 8.2, Chapter 4.

Do not wear a wet or dirty hood.

Wash the flash hood after

every

incident where smoke has been encountered.
