Getting Started
Powering Up
If you are planning on increasing your unit’s memory, see Appendix C before you
power up.
Once you finish setting up your unit, you are ready to power it up.
Follow these guidelines when connecting your MultiPASS L90 to a power source:
J
The unit is intended for domestic use only and requires 200-240 V AC. Do not
use it outside the country where you purchased it.
J
Use only the power cord that came with the MultiPASS L90. Using a longer
cord or extension cord can cause the unit to malfunction.
J
Unplug the unit by pulling on the plug itself, not on the cord.
J
Do not plug the unit into a power outlet shared with an appliance that
generates electrical noise, such as an air conditioner, computer, electric
typewriter, or copier.
J
Make sure nothing is laying on the power cord, and that the cord is located
where it can not be walked on or tripped over.
J
Do not overload the electrical outlet. Make sure that the total amperage used
by all products plugged into the wall outlet does not exceed the ampere rating
of the outlet’s circuit breaker.
J
Do not plug the unit into an uninterruptable power supply (UPS).
To connect the power cord, plug the cord into the power receptacle on the
MultiPASS L90, and then into a 200-240 V AC outlet.
