Inside the Unit

1. Open the printer cover by grasping it on both sides and lifting it up.

2. Remove the toner cartridge from the unit.

J

Store the cartridge in its protective bag to avoid exposure to light.

3. Use the front cover release latch to open the front cover.

Please note that the operation panel (which can also be opened) sits on top of the
front cover. Do not open the operation panel for this procedure. Instead keep the
operation panel and front cover together as you open the front cover.

Do not open the front cover without pushing the release latch as this may cause
damage to your fax. Be sure to use the front cover release latch to open the front
cover.
