Place originals here when scanning books, thick originals,
thin originals, transparencies.

Original Feeding Belt
Delivers originals scanned using the feeder to the Original
Output Tray.

Toner Supply Port Cover
Open this cover to replace the toner cartridge. (See
"Replacing the Toner Cartridge/Waste Toner Container," on
p. 7-42.)

Front Cover
Open this cover to clear a paper jam inside the fixing
transport unit. (See "Screens Indicating the Locations of
Paper Jams," on p. 8-3.)

Fixing Transport Unit
Pull out this unit to clear a paper jam inside the main unit.

p. 8-3.)

Test Button
Press this button to periodically test the circuit breaker.

Breaker
Detects excess current or leakage current. (See "Periodic

LAN Port
This port supports 100/10BASE-T. Use this port to connect
the machine with the network.

USB (Host) Port
This port is a connection part of an USB interface cable.
Use this port to connect the machine with the USB devices
corresponding with USB2.0 High Speed 480 Mbps. If you
connect this port with the USB devices, the upper cover of
the decurler unit may contact USB devices depending on
the type of USB devices when opening the upper cover of
the decurler unit.
