Changing the Finishing Type of a Custom Paper Type

When you register the paper types below as custom paper types, change the finishing type as 
shown below.

•

Uncoated

•

Recycled

•

1-Sided Coated

•

2-Sided Coated

•

Embossed

•

Vellum

•

Film/Transparency

•

Label

•

Cotton

IMPORTANT

 

•

Only user-registered paper types can be edited.

•

If you select the finishing type which is different from actual surface texture of a paper, paper jams may 
occur, and the quality of the image may be adversely affected.

NOTE

 

You cannot change the detailed information of paper being used for copying/printing jobs.
