Clear Coat Form Composition Coating Mode
When you superimpose a clear image on the original, you can also coat the section which has
no clear image slightly by setting the Clear Coat Form Composition Coating mode to 'On'. Also,
this mode enables you to adjust the density of the clear toner.
IMPORTANT
•
[Clear Coat Form Composition Coating] is displayed only if the settings are made available by your local
authorized Canon dealer. Even if [Clear Coat Form Composition Coating] is displayed, do not allow
anyone to operate except for the system manager. If you want to operate, contact your local authorized
Canon dealer.
•
If the surface in high density areas except clear image becomes slightly rough, set the Clear Coat Form
Composition Coating mode to 'On'.

Select [On] or [Off].
Details of each item are shown below.
[On]: The section which has no clear image is also coated.
[Off]: This is the default setting. The section which has no clear image is not coated.
