Gently insert the paper cassette into the fax until it clicks into
position.

If the paper cassette is not installed correctly, the received
document image might shift, or the recording paper might jam.
❏
If you have difficulty inserting the paper cassette after removing it
completely, disconnect then connect the power cord. When the
PLEASE WAIT message is no longer displayed, try inserting the
paper cassette again.
❏
If you pull out the paper cassette with paper remaining in the
cassette, be sure to check the following before reinserting it.
– Make sure no paper is out of the cassette.
– Make sure there is no loose paper inside the fax unit.
❏
If the paper cassette sticks when you try inserting it in the fax,
remove it from the fax and open the front cover. Then close it and try
reinserting the paper cassette.
