Setting Item Description
1 TEL LINE TYPE Sets the telephone line type. (See “Set the Telephone Line
Type,” in the Starter Guide.)
2 PSTN/PBX Sets the telephone system.
PSTN Sets the machine to connect to an outside line.
PBX Sets the machine to connect through a switchboard. (See
Chapter 1, “Advanced Fax Features,” in the Advanced
Guide.)
REPORTING SETTING
Setting Item Description
1 ACTIVITY REPORT Sets whether to print an activity report automatically. (See

2 TX RESULT REPORT Sets whether to print a TX (transmission) result report
automatically. (See Chapter 3, “Reports and Lists,” in the
