Q. TROUBLESHOOTING
In case of burn back (ignition under the burner cap) switch the product off, allow it to cool down (approximately five minutes),
then reignite the appliance. If the problem of burn back persists, then please contact your local Campingaz
®
representative.

Difficulty with ignition

Check that the hose is in good condition.

Check that the cartridge is not empty or
almost empty.

Replace the hose if it is in poor condition.

To do so, contact the After Sales Service.

Change the cartridge if necessary.
Difficulty with ignition
The flames are not
stable when a new
cartridge is used.
y
Possible presence of air in the cartridge and
thus in the gas circuit.
y
Let the barbecue work and the problem will
disappear.
The burner will not
light.
y
Check that the hose, injector, tap, venturi tube
and burner holes are not clogged.
y
Contact the After Sales Service.
The burner does not
burn smoothly or goes
out.
y
Check that there is sufficient gas in the
cartridge.
y
Change the gas cartridge.
Large flame on the
burner surface
y
The burner outlet may be blocked (spider
webs,...) or the injector holder is improperly
positioned in the outlet.
y
Contact the After Sales Service.
Flame at the injector
y
Check that the cartridge is not almost empty.
y
Change the cartridge.
y
Contact the After Sales Service.
Insufficient cooking
temperature
y
Check that the injector or venturi tube is not
blocked (spider webs...).
y
Clean the Venturi tube.
The grease ignites in
an abnormal manner.
y
Make sure grease has not accumulated at the
bottom of the grill.
y
Reduce the gas flow of the barbecue.
y
Clean the bottom of the grill.
The burner does not
light up with the piezo
ignitor.
y
Check the condition of the wires or electrodes.
y
Check that the piezo ignitor is well connected
to the electrode.
y
Change if necessary. Contact the After Sales

Connect if necessary.
Flame at the
connection of the gas
hose with the nozzle

Check the air tightness of the coupling.

Close the gas supply.
