Network Planner

, aids with radio network design and device
configuration.
Network Planner
is found in the Tools section of the
LoggerNet
toolbar.
Network Planner
allows you to plan which measurement stations, repeater stations, and base
station will be used in your network. You can place hardware device icons onto a canvas (with an
optional background graphic in place, such as a map) and explore how connections are made
between each station. Many of the settings, such as unique PakBus addresses, are automatically
set by the software as each device is added to the canvas. Additionally, the Setup details for the
associated devices in your network are saved to
LoggerNet
.

After a design is complete,
Network Planner
can be used to automatically configure each device
that is part of the system.
