If the chain is on the smallest chainring
and the largest sprocket (Fig. 9) and
does not lift onto the largest chainring
after 3 clicks, increase the cable tension:
loosen the adjuster screw. In the case of
a Campagnolo adjuster, do not exceed
the upper notch as this will compromi-
se the operation of the adjuster itself
(Fig. 10). After moving the chain onto
the largest chainring, check that the
inner side of the fork is no more than
0.5 mm from the chain. If the gap is lar-
ger, increase the cable tension further.
