Connecting the Power Cable

PTP 820F utilizes a dual-feed power interface, which can be connected to two separate power
supplies for power redundancy. A power cable connector is included with the PTP 820F unit.
To connect a power cable to the PTP 820F:
1.
Expose the wires of the power cable.
2.
Loosen the top two screws on the connector.
3.
Verify that the wiring is according to the correct polarity.
Note
Before connecting the power supply to the PTP 820F unit, you must verify that the
positive pole in the external power supply is grounded! Power supply grounding should
be in according with the following figure.
