To establish a connection between the PC and the PTP 820F unit, it is necessary to have an IP
address on the PC within the same subnet as the unit. The default IP address of the PTP 820F unit is
192.168.1.1. Set the PC address to e.g. 192.168.1.10 and subnet mask to 255.255.255.0. Note the initial
settings before changing.
1.
Select Control Panel> All Control Panel Items >Network and Sharing Center.
2.
Click Change adapter settings.
3.
Select Local Area Connection> Properties> Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IP).
o
IP address: 192.168.1.10
o
Subnet mask 255.255.255.0
o
No default gateway
4.
Press OK to apply the settings.
Logging On
1.
Open an Internet browser (Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox).
2.
Type in the default IP address "192.168.1.1" in the Address Bar.

Enter the following values:

User Name: admin
o
Password: admin

Click Apply.
Note
The chassis IP address, as well as password, should be changed before the system is set
