8 - Maintaining the instrument

Press the post combustion tube plug (1) and the combustion tube connection (3) down lightly and

pull the furnace out of the instrument to the front.



Pull the combustion tube connection (3) out of the combustion tube (4) with careful jiggling

motions.



Place the combustion tube connection (3) on the tube rack.



Insert the tube extractor into the combustion tube (4). After clamping the crucible tongs in the ash

crucible, pull the ash crucible out.
