Notes: If you map an input token and there is an output
setpoint in the range you map, it will always be zero in
the fieldbus data (works the same way if you use an
output token and there is an input setpoint in the range
that is mapped). These tokens can be mapped in
either direction as well. You can get the states of the
inputs/outputs by mapping them into the PLC or you
can try to control the states of the inputs/outputs by
mapping them out of the PLC.
Explanation of TRY to control…
If you are mapping out of the PLC (into the indicator),
and you change the state of an input, it’s state will be
overridden by the actual hardware (unless it is virtual).
If you do this on an output setpoint, the state may
change from what you set when the setpoints is
reevaluated (unless it is a User controlled setpoint).
Mapping a bank of set points:
Number of setpoints / 8 (setpoints/bank) = bank token
number
You do not have to map the setpoints as bytes. They
can be mapped as any data type for example.
FBUS_TOKEN_INPUTS_1: (bank -1) each byte of data
is a bank
- Mapped as UINT8 (1-byte)
o This will give you input setpoints 1-8
- Mapped as UINT16 (2-bytes or 1-word)
o This will give you input setpoints 1-16
- Mapped as UINT32 (4-bytes or 2-words)
o This will give you input setpoints 1-32
FBUS_TOKEN_INPUTS_2: (bank -2) each byte of
data is a bank
- Mapped as UINT8 (1-byte)
o This will give you input setpoints 9-16
- Mapped as UINT16 (2-bytes or 1-word)
o This will give you input setpoints 9-24
- Mapped as UINT32 (4-bytes or 2-word)
o This will give you input setpoints 9-40

These value are configuration dependent. The
following commands will change their value or function
if the register which is mapped from the host changes
at any time. XOR the mapped register with a "1" to
toggle the register every time the XOR is executed.
