Remove water pump gear, needle pin and thrust
washer.

Using a soft hammer, tap on the end of the water
pump shaft from inside the magneto cover to push
the shaft and rotary seal out of the magneto cover.

CAUTION: Always replace rotary seal and wa-
ter pump shaft no. 5 together. Also install a
new oil seal no. 3 at the same time.
