IRAS-24A T1/ISDN Modem Card Installation and Reference Guide

The IRAS-24A driver has been configured to match
the T1 service (ISDN or RBS), e.g., Switch/Variant, or
Trunk Type/Framing Type, etc.
❐
On a Windows NT server, the following are true:
-
Windows NT and RAS are up and running.
-
NetaccPC
ports have been configured in RAS.
-
No
NetaccPC
errors appear in the system log
(under the Event Viewer).
❐
The D-channel must be established (ISDN only) with
the switch up (green indicator) before any calls can be
made or received.

Run the Netaccess Status Utility program to verify
the status of the D-channel (see “Running the
Netaccess Status Utility” in this chapter).
Common
Problems
Once the IRAS-24A driver is configured and accepting calls,
no further device administration should be required.
Following are some common problems that you may
encounter during installation or normal operation.

Your Switch Type and/or Variant Protocol is incorrect.
Use Table 3-1, Chapter 3and Table 4-1, Chapter 4 to help
isolate the problem.

Your Trunk Type and/or Framing Type is incorrect.
Use Table 3-2, Chapter 3 and Table 4-2, Chapter 4 to help
isolate the problem.
