Installation and
Configuration
Overview IRAS-24A installation and configuration activities fall into
three general categories:
❐
Service ordering – If the T1 line(s) is not already
installed at your site, it needs to be ordered from your
service provider (see Appendix A).
❐
Hardware installation – The IRAS-24A must be
installed in your PC prior to driver software
installation and configuration. Chapter 2 contains
step-by-step hardware installation instructions. You
should also have the manual that accompanied the PC
available for reference.
❐
Driver software installation and configuration – Once
the IRAS-24A card is installed, the driver software
must be installed onto the system and the
communication ports configured for operation with
Windows NT 4.0 (Chapter 3) or Windows NT 3.51
(Chapter 4).
