To display a summary of the IPv6 VRRP-E v3 statistics on a device, enter the following command at any level of the CLI:
device# show ipv6 vrrp-extended statistics

Field Description
RX master adv The number of VRRP or VRRP-E advertisement packets received for a
VRID on a specific interface. This is the same as the "total number of vrrp/
vrrp-extended packets received" output of the stat option.
TX master adv The number of VRRP or VRRP-E advertisement packets sent by this
router for a VRID on a specific interface. This is the same as the "total
number of vrrp/vrrp-extended packets sent" output of the stat option.
RX backup adv The number of VRRP backup advertisement packets received for a VRID
on a specific interface. This is the same as the "backup advertisements
received" output of the stat option.
TX backup adv The number of VRRP backup advertisement packets sent by this router
for a VRID on a specific interface. This is the same as the "backup
advertisements sent" output of the stat option.
VR Errors This is the sum of these values:
• rxed arp packet drop count
• rxed ip packet drop count
• rxed vrrp port mismatch count
• rxed vrrp number of ip address mismatch count
• rxed vrrp ip address mismatch count
• rxed vrrp hello interval mismatch count
Port Errors This is the sum of these values:
• rxed vrrp header error count
• rxed vrrp auth error count
• rxed vrrp auth passwd mismatch error count
• rxed vrrp vrid not found error count
Clearing VRRP or VRRP-E statistics
To clear VRRP or VRRP-E statistics, enter the clear ip vrrp-stat command at the Privileged EXEC level or any configuration level of the
CLI.
device#clear ip vrrp-stat

To clear IPv6 VRRP v3 or IPv6 VRRP-E v3 statistics, enter the following command at the Privileged EXEC level or any configuration
level of the CLI.
