14.9.1
Equipment internal data can be read with the

program.
The program is a component of the user software

and thus is provided on every current wheel
alignment gauge.
A variant of the System-Monitor is present in the

Service-CD, which serves more functions, as the
version delivered with wheel alignment gauge.
4 tabs are provided for representing different
R
equipment data: "Type and version info", "Light
exposure", "Graph" and "Coefficients".

Troubleshooting
"Sensor is not connected
using a cable! Please
connect the sensor
using a cable and then
go to next step."
The cable connection is
mandatory for the Firmware
update. Before the measuring
processor is updated, it is
checked whether it is connected
using cable. If this is not the
case, then a message is given.
"The file "<Dateipfad>"
cannot be read with
the Firmware data."
The file FlashData.xml shall
be used as default from the
directory of the program file, as
long as allocation has not been
carried out in the settings.
This message can occur
due to following reasons:
The file is not available,
is corrupt or is locked
by other process.
The format of the file is
invalid, i.e. you cannot
receive Firmware-Images.
"The communication
processor can be
be accessed."
If the communication processor
and/or the measuring box is not
connected, this message can
have the following reasons:
The serial interface is not
functioning or is blocked
by another application.
The communication processor
receives neither an executable
application nor a boot
loader or it is defected.

With the following steps, installation of an older version
can be executed:
Select the option "Version comparison not executed"

and "Use other Firmware file" in the settings and
then the file with the older Firmware-Images.
Then start the Firmware update. The older Firmware

is recorded in all the connected equipments due to
the missing version comparisons.
Again remove the option in case of options mentioned

in the first point in the connection.

In case a sensor does not receive a functioning
i
Firmware (all LEDs appears permanently on
the sensor), then it should be connected to the
measuring box with a functioning sensor before
starting the FlashWriters. Otherwise, it can happen
that it is not recognised by the communication
processor and the update is missing.
