Target data-Software
Insert the Target data-CD/DVD in the drive of

the computer. The installation program starts
automatically.
Start the installation by clicking on "Setup &

If the installation does not start automatically, run

AutoRunEXEC.exe from the root directory of the CD.
Close all other programs. The installation shall be

continued by clicking on "Next".
Now the actual installation process starts by clicking

on the "Next".
The question "do you have a new licence file?"

appears now on the screen.
"Yes" – You are requested to select the license file

(refer to Program Installation). New vehicle databank
is installed, existing vehicle databank is updated.
"No" – Installation will be continued with the
R
licenses on your device. Only the vehicle data is
updated.

The installation program verifies all the target data
records on the data carriers for a valid license.
An HTML-log is displayed during installation. Besides
the serial number of the equipment and the start and
end time, installation of every document is recorded.
If the program finds a valid license, the data record

in green is entered in the record with the note
(successful installed).
If a valid license is found for a data record, this
R
appears in red with the note (**Not installed,
incorrect/invalid License**).
After the installation process is completed this
i
file is saved in the directory C:\Dokumente und
Einstellungen\User\Lokale Einstellungen\Temp.
For error messages on our service, please send this file.
If the installation process has ended, remove the

possible available license diskette and restart the
computer.
Uninstalling Software

If you are working with the Operating System-

Uninstall menu, click in the following sequence:
Start,

Software.

The following window appears: "Uninstalling the

device specific software component". Mark the
individual FWA program and software module in this
window and click on the button change/remove.
Follow the menu navigation, the selected software

will be uninstalled.
Customer specific data (Vehicle, customer databank,

measuring report etc.) and settings remain the same.
In order to uninstall the software completely, the
i
folder C:\<program files>\FWA-CCD must be deleted
subsequently. Through thus the customer specific
settings and data will be deleted.
