General instructions
12.1
Up to six axial cutter devices can be successively
i
operated in radio operation.
Prerequisites for that:
The communication of MWA with the communication

processor (KP) must be done in different radio
frequencies in order to avoid opposite fault.
The information, which radio frequency is used for

each device (channel), is stored in communication
processor (KP). It can be accessed with the service
program "System-Monitor" and CCD server.
In case of channel change of an axial cutter device,
3.
the radio frequency in not only the communication
processor (KP) but also in each of four MWAs must
be changed.
This is carried out pressing keyboard combination
4.
on the keyboard of MWA or using a CCD server in
channel operation.

Radio frequency
12.1.1
The radio module transmits on 433 MHz or 2.4 GHz.
If more than one axial cutter computers are operated
in a plant, then 6 alternative radio frequencies are
available which move in all 433 MHz or 2.4 GHz
bandwidth.

12.1.2
The software change of measuring element (MWA) and
the communication processor (KP) can be done using
service program (FlashWriter). For this the measuring
elements must be connected on the device with cables.
The software information and possible errors are read
with service tool "System monitor".

12.2.1
Switch on measuring element (MWA) using R button.

The green power-LED lights.
Quickly press R key and the rim shock key (middle

key) simultaneously to switch-off.
All LEDs go out. They are now in channel change

mode.
The device completely switches-off in approx. 10
R
seconds.
The transmission channel change can now be started

in approx. 10 seconds.

outside the rim shock key.

During switching-off the lastly selected channel is
stored at the same time.
Using software program CCD server
12.2.2
In channel operation, the four MWAs can be changed si-
multaneously using software program CCD server (see
also section 12.3).
