Checking the calibration targets

Inspect the calibration targets for visible flaws and
dirt on the calibration pattern.

Clean the contact surfaces.

Check the calibration targets for deformation.

Inspect the edge protection.

Check the adhesive base for fastening to the slide of
the precision measuring bar.

Check the height of the mounting pins.

Height of the mounting pins: 5-6 mm

Measure in case of damage

Replace the calibration targets.

The standard components must be inspected
before carrying out maintenance on the SCT 415 /
SCT 416 / CCT 3100 / CCT 3500 / EL 52425 (see
sec. 4).

In the following, the products SCT 415 / SCT 416 /
CCT 3100 / CCT 3500 / EL 52425 are called calibra-
tion and adjustment devices.

5.1

Entire unit

5.1.1

Checking the roll angle and pitch angle

Set the precision measuring bar (on an EL 52425,
the L-bracket) to a height of 1000 mm.

Using the positioning feet, level the calibration and
adjustment device on the base plate with the aid of
the spirit levels on the L-bracket (Abb. 23, item 2 and
item 3).

Fasten the test template (Abb. 23, item 4) to the
L-bracket.
