Examples:
(a).
The above sample status code of “2800” corresponds to “0010_1000_0000_0000”. This indicates an instrument
status of:
n
13
- NOT_CALIB, n
11
- MENU_MODE
(b).
Code “A42E” would correspond to “1010_0100_0010_1110” and indicate an instrument status of:
n
15
-CAL_ERR,n
13
-NOT_CALIB,n
10
-CALIB_ERR,n
5
-NOLOCKDET,n
3
-R2_LOW,n
2
-NOT_CTRD,n
1
-GAS_HIGH
Under normall operating conditions, the most common status code is “1”. This is actually 0001, but the software ignores
the leading zeros and indicates a status code of “1”. This corresponds to “0000_0000_0000_0001”, and indicates an
instrument status of:
n
0
- NO_ERROR.
When the
GasFinderMC
is used in conjunction with ‘Hyperterminal’ or Boreal Laser’s
‘
GasViewMC
’ data-logging program, the data stream which is sent to the fi le is as follows:
