Accessory Module Maintenance
RFB Module •
No maintenance required.
4-20mA Module •
Verify that the 4-20mA signal is reaching the DCS and the values are equivalent to the
readings at the
GasFinderMC. Readings can be simulated by using the Alarm Test
Menus in the GasFinderMC .
Dry Contact Relay Module •
Testing can be performed using the Alarm Test Menus in the GasFinderMC.
Testing of the modules should be performed regularly at intervals determined by your
company’s policy. Care should be used when checking the 4-20mA Module and the
Dry Contact Relay Module as unplanned testing may have serious consequences to
the operation of equipment being protected.
