BMP 8500

4.16 Teaching the BOSS safety

system transponder

When replacing a defective remote control only
units with a completely black housing must be
used. Please follow the described procedure when
installing new components of the radio system or
the safety system (BOSS):

Shut down the engine,

switch off the main battery switch,

replace defective components,

switch on the main battery switch,

plug the spiral cable into the remote control.

Move the remote control out of the safety field.
